Sexual intimacy is an important part of a couple's love life. I am confident no-one would doubt that. However, for the female partner, difficulty with sexual arousal or difficulty achieving orgasm is a real stress on the relationship.Up to 30 per cent of women suffer from the condition known as anorgasmia (lack of orgasmic ability), yet there are currently no approved treatments on the market.
The treatment, called Tefina, is a nasal spray used two hours before sex and is expected to work for six hours. The testosterone-based treatment is thought to boost sexual desire by activating relevant parts of the brain and increasing blood flow to the sexual organs.
HOWEVER, the "bad" news is that the medication is not yet available for general use as it is still in investigation in Canada, Australia and certain US Medical institutions. Appropriate dose, true clinical outcomes and side effect profile are still being analyzed.
So for now, just hang in there. Until modern medicial science finds the magic formula, seems like the best advice for a fullfilling sexual love life boils down to this: communication, mutual respect, and tenderness. And there is no percription needed for that.
